Overall Purpose
The Chef de Partie is responsible for the production and cooking of section within the venue. They will ensure their section is run in an efficient way, delivering high quality food consistently throughout service.
Key Responsibilities
Food Product & Service
Correctly follows all menu guidelines to ensure correct stock levels are maintained Prepares, cooks and presents food quickly and efficiently consistently delivering the standards set out by the Head Chef Follows all production process around food hygiene and allergen management
Process and procedure
Ensures their equipment is well maintained, clean and in good working order notifying the Sous Chef when they have concerns Ensures their station is well maintained, clean and hygienic at all times Completes all storage, stock rotation and cleaning to the standards set by the business Check and puts away deliveries as required Follows all food safety management processes
Team Working
Carries out all instructions from Head Chef or Sous Chef during service accurately and in a timely manner Carries out reasonable request made by Head Chef, Sous Chef, General Manager or Day Manager as required Supports other members of the team as required or directed by the Head Chef Acts as a role model to other team members
