CNC Setter Programmer is required for an expanding global Automotive Manufacturing client spanning 22 countries. Based in Gillingham and working a double day shift Monday to Friday with a range of very competitive benefits – including a shift allowance paid on top of a competitive basic rate of pay, staff discounts, 27 days annual leave and bank holidays, health benefits such as Dental plan and discounted Gym Membership, and a subsidised canteen amongst others too.

In this role you will program, set and run various multi axis CNC machines to specified instruction and using feedback from part measurements, manufacture high precision complex components and assemblies as instructed.

You will be able to read engineered drawings and specifications and have an understanding of GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) alongside using CNC technologies. Use of CAD CAM software is required and you will have a demonstrable level of experience in a mechanical, engineering or electronics manufacturing background. Ideally some knowledge of Fanuc Controls, Mazak, Maiseiko, Harding or Hitatchi.
