CNC Turner required to join a well-established Manufacturing company that is based in the Worthing area. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and setting designated machines and following all health and safety policies and procedures.

CNC Turner Position Overview

• Operate and setting of CNC Lathe and Plate Cutter machine.
• Ability to write Programs for the controllers.
• Understand the correct operating procedures for all machines in the area
• Control stock in line with company policy
• Comply with company Health and Safety policy
• Complete all appropriate paperwork in line with company policy
• Recording all programs created for repeat runners and one offs
• Cover other areas in times of absence or high workload
• Provide training to other team members when requested
• Liaise with internal customers on NCRs, concessions and any minor issues that arise during manufacture.
• Other Ad hoc duties as required

CNC Turner Position Requirements

• Engineering / production background and mechanically minded
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and understanding of geometric tolerancing.
• Previous experience of Siemens 828D & HiTROL-840C Controllers beneficial
• Good practical skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Able to work under pressure as part of a busy team and independently
• Clear communication skills both verbal and written
• Must live within a commutable distance of Worthing

CNC Turner Position Remuneration

• Full time – Permanent position
• Salary – £28,000 – £30,000 (DOE)
• Monday to Friday 07:00am – 16:00pm (11am finish on Fridays)
• 31 days holiday (including BH)
• Company bonus scheme
• Pension
