A fantastic, cutting-edge, digital business with state of the art offices are looking to recruit a part qualified (CIMA, ACCA, AAT Qual) Commercial Finance Analyst in a newly created role with hybrid working. Reporting to a highly experienced Commercial Finance Manager, you will be part of a small, commercially focussed team concentrating on the analysis of commercial, finance data for one of the Group’s largest client – a household name. The role will be varied and will require first class communications and partnership skills due to direct client contact, other duties will include: Preparing and analysing weekly and monthly management reports on revenue, forecasts, recoverability and utilization Interpretation of data and clear, concise communication to ensure understanding from non-financial colleagues Identify and investigate variances against forecasts Assisting the Commercial Manager with the preparation and coordination of the monthly reports for submission to executive meetings Supervision of WIP & Billing ensuring recovery of committed costs. Exploring the development of new reports and information systems in line with the changing needs of the business.In turn, you will be: Experienced in a commercial analysis role preferably within a finance / management accounting role Potentially studying, or ready to study, ACCA or CIMA Confident Excel skills including: vLookups; Pivot tables; IF statements, manipulation of data & formatting and able or ready to develop your skills in this area with skills such as macros, and Power BI Proven ability to structure reports, interpret financial information and communicate to non-finance stakeholders (internal & external) Confident self-starter capable of handling high volumes of work and dataThis is a great, global client with a superb reputation of staff retention & development in an exciting environment with first class benefits.
