Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer Location: ManchesterSalary: £40,000 Job Type: Permanent Full-time

The Role-Predominantly maintenance driven with Planned Preventative Maintenance and Re-Active calls on the contracts in the North-West within numerous establishments for our client base.

• Commercial Gas Installation works however the focus of the tasks will be the Reactive and Planned Maintenance.
• Testing & Inspection of mechanical services within the client buildings.
• General day to day repairs to Heating, Hot Water and Ventilation systems.
• Issue all paperwork/certification associated with planned maintenance calls and new installations.
• Attend client premise to attend to warranty calls as and when required.

A contractor for the provision of Mechanical, Electrical and Telecommunications services. Even though the company is growing the values continue to be at the heart of everything they do.The Candidate-Essential:

• Domestic Gas: CCN1 Core Domestic Safety, CENWAT Boilers, CKR1 Gas Cookers, HTR1 Wall Heaters and Gas Fires.
• Commercial Gas: CDGA1 Direct Fired Heating Appliances, CIGA1 Indirect Fired Gas Appliances, CORT1 Gas Fired Radiant Tube and Plaque Heaters, TPCP1 or 1A Testing and Purging.

Desirable:

• Commercial Catering Experience CoDC1, COMCAT1, COMCAT2, COMCAT3, COMCAT5
• Working in the likes of National Health Service buildings and other public body establishments such as Education and MOD premises, installing and maintaining commercial mechanical systems would be an advantage but not essential.
