Project Engineer What Are We Looking For Owing to continued growth from project wins, Greenacre Environmental System Ltd are looking for a Project Engineer to join the business on a permanent basis, working out of our offices in Dewsbury. This is an exciting time with the business as we transition to managing a larger portfolio of works through our own success, but also through the wider RSE portfolio. This would ideally suit a candidate with a strong mechanical background who is excited at the prospect of entering a growing business and taking the opportunity to grow into a senior role in time with the business. Some of your key duties include: Project liaison from enquiry stage to final acceptance and documentation, meeting with clients as required to discuss specific requirements and carry out site surveys as required. Ensure all technical information is available when required for the delivery of design and/or construction. Interpret and check drawings, specifications, and schedules for all activities, directing works accordingly & prepare final documentation (As Built Drawings etc.). Early identification and resolution of non-conformance within both the design and construction phase Manage the design of systems and products, ensuring alignment with design specifications and technical aspects. Management of project quality deliverables and procedures ensuring compliance with Internal and Client Quality Systems. Input to tender, design and construction programmes including progress updates and reporting. Production of technical reports, commissioning documentation, and O&M manuals for newly installed ventilation systems. Specification and procurement of equipment and materials. Subcontractor liaison, management including tender specification, quotation and H&S documentation review and appraisal. Production of risk assessments and method statements What do you need? Qualification to degree / HND/ HNC in Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of ventilation systems. Proven track record in involvement with Project Management, with an Engineering or Supervisory background. Good time management, with the ability to multitask, plan and organise day to day workloads within a busy environment. Good communication skills in both verbal and written communication and ability to follow, interpret and explain technical instructions. Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work with, lead and motivate others and be able to bring projects to successful completion. Driven, with an ability to work individually and with teams under your direction. Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Greenacre Who Are We?
