Corporate Insurance Account Manager
About the roleYou will be reporting directly into our Corporate Insurance Distribution Manager and form part of our Corporate Insurance team. In this role you will work strategically with our branch network (known internally as our Agencies) to develop their corporate proposition with their large corporate clients who usually have premiums in excess of £250,000.
By working collaboratively with the Agencies, you will help them deliver exceptional Account Management to their corporate clients.
You will achieve this by developing and supporting implementation of corporate training, education, marketing and communication programmes to increase capability and support the accreditation of Agencies to sell compliant corporate business and embed best practice.
By working closely with the Agencies, you will support with some client meetings meaning this role offers great diversity being both internal and client facing. Across the wider business you will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Regional Sales teams, Commercial Support teams, Underwriting, Claims, Governance & Controls Manager and Risk Management.About youIt is essential you have significant experience of the UK commercial insurance market and experience of successfully developing and delivering client account plans.
You will possess an in depth understanding of corporate commercial insurance requirements and customer demands with experience of managing a business to business relationship.
In addition, be able to demonstrate evidence of having successfully managed clients at a corporate level demonstrating strong relationship management skills and influencing skills as well as proven experience within the acquisition of new corporate clients.
The role requires a full driving licence and is based from home. The team is located in Stratford-upon-Avon and the role has national coverage. It is therefore expected that you will have regular travel to the office, Agencies and clients.
This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of “Good Repute”.
