Our client are a forward-thinking Chartered Accountancy Practice based in London specialising in Audit, Tax, and Accountancy for SMEs. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join their team.
The Role:
You will play a crucial role in leading and managing individual assignments as well as team projects. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of assignments, maintaining the quality of service, and aligning with the firm’s objectives.
Duties:
Manage multiple tax-based assignments and associated work, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Prepare letters for clients and third parties, seeking approval from the Associate or Director.
Collaborate with specialists across multiple departments and relevant third parties, such as banks and solicitors.
Correspond with HMRC on tax-related matters.
Support the Corporate Tax compliance function by addressing technical queries internally and externally.
Assist relationship leads in monitoring costs.
Ensure timely billing of clients according to the firm’s guidelines.
Produce technical tax reports covering various Corporate Tax issues.
Plan and complete assignments, delegating, supervising, and reviewing technical advisory work and queries as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of Corporation Tax, including capital allowances and key capital gains tax reliefs.
Experience in technical report writing.
Ability to communicate and explain technical points to clients and team members effectively.
