Cover Supervisor’s wanted for secondary schools in North Dorset. We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor’s to join our bank of staff to cover in North Dorset schools, in particular Shaftesbury, Blandford Forum, Sherborne and Sturminster Newton. As a Cover Supervisor, you will provide cover for absent teachers and support the learning and development of students across a range of subjects. Responsibilities: Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and materials to students in the absence of teachers Manage the classroom environment and maintain order and discipline among students Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure that students receive a high-quality education Assist with the supervision of students during break and lunchtimes Contribute to the school’s positive and inclusive learning environment Requirements: A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) Previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively in a team Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of students We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional development and career progression.
