Creative Advertising Producer – Sky Creative

We are on the look-out for a Producer to join Sky Creative to work on 360 advertising campaigns within the Advertising Team (TV, AV, OLV, Digital, OOH, Print, Radio, Social) for Sky TV Customers & Products, Sky ROI and NOW ROI!

What you’ll do:

• Providing initial advice on feasibility / IP / legal issues, ballparks and timings of all creative from a production perspective, offering up solutions and alternatives when necessary.
• Budgeting resource and production costs for each job, maintaining the budget throughout.
• Impeccable budget reconciliations at the end of each project.
• Create and update detailed production schedules.
• Keep track of all delivery requirements ensuring the work is always in hand and on schedule.
• Build good relationships with CDs and Creatives to understand and help deliver their vision.
• Work collaboratively with internal Account Management, Creative, Promo production, Studio production, Copywriters, Design teams, Resource Management and our internal post facilities to ensure the smooth running of every project.
• Maintain relationships with external production companies and our production partners in Europe.
• Oversee director searches and pitches.
• Work closely with awarded production company producers to ensure they are always up to date and on track.
• On occasion produce live action shoots in house, with the support of a Production Manager, liaising with all HoDs, insurance companies, our risk assessment team etc to set up a successful and safe shoot.
• Negotiate usage and clearance for imagery, content, music and artists
• Work with the AP to ensure every project is delivered on time
• Work alongside EPs and Sky Procurement to use and maintain an up to date ‘black book’ to widen the range of talent Sky Creative works with and, when required, make this resource available to the rest of the department

What you’ll bring:

• Experience as a Producer or minimum 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Producer in Advertising production, either in a production company or agency.
• Understanding of all stages and scales of production.
• Understanding of the transcreation and adaptation process for European countries.
• Established relationships with external suppliers, in particular production companies and post houses.
• Up to date knowledge of latest technology, post-production techniques and advertising formats.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive a project from brief to delivery
• Proven track record of managing budgets and forward planning
• Confidence in client facing situations.
• Experience in negotiating and clearing artists, music and content usage.
• Experience in delivering Advertising assets.
• Ideally – experience in / understanding of a Broadcast environment.
• Ideally – knowledge of the Republic of Ireland’s culture and market
