Our client is a reputable Higher Education Organisation based in Lincoln, easily commutable from wider Lincolnshire including Newark, Gainsborough and Grantham. Due to recent expansion within the team, my client are looking for a Credit Control Officer to join their growing team. The role will be directly reporting into an Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
Description
The Credit Control Officer will be to report to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and provide an effective Accounts Receivable function to all areas of the organisation. More specific duties of the Credit Control Officer include:
Controlling and collecting all revenues from various streams within agreed timescales resolving related queries as and when they arise
Liase with debt collection agencies
Maintain accuracy of the sales ledger, ensuring all processing and reconciliation activity is carried out
Investigate and resolve credit balances in a timely manner
General Finance Administration
Profile
The successful candidate will:
Have experience working in a busy finance function
Be undertaking their AAT qualifications (or have relevant experience)
Have experience using a computerised accounting system
Be a competent user of Microsoft Office
Have excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
Have a high attention to detail
Job Offer
The successful candidate can expect a salary between £21-23,000 + 38 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays + local government pension scheme + hybrid, flexible working with 3 days working from home + excellent progression and development opportunities
