As a Branch Assistant, your role will be essential to keeping our branch and yard running smoothly. From serving our customers in the yard to loading vehicles ready for delivery, and from monitoring stock to growing our sales on the trade counter, you’ll be at the heart of our operations.

So, what will you be doing?

Our Yard/Branch Assistants have a strong focus on customer service at the trade counter as well as working outside in the yard, so this role is great for someone who loves to build relationships with customers and enjoys working in different environments.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
• Get to know our product lines so you can offer help and advice in our yard and at our trade counter
• Help to process and prepare customer orders
• Load/unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift to minimise manual handling
• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
• Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
• Keep the branch and yard looking clean and tidy and make Health & Safety a priority
