Job Description: Customer Service Assistant (12-Month Maternity Cover) WoodUpp, a reputable company specialising in acoustic panels and wooden slatted panels, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Service Assistant. This position is a 12-month maternity cover, based in our West Thurrock location. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities for the Customer Service Assistant role: Answering incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner, addressing customer inquiries, and providing accurate information about our products and services. Assisting customers with order placement, tracking, and resolving any order-related issues in a timely and efficient manner. Going the extra mile to exceed customer expectations and provide a personalised experience that showcases WoodUpp’s commitment to excellence. Demonstrating exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate processing of orders and maintaining customer records. Thriving in a fast-paced environment and efficiently managing multiple tasks and responsibilities. Contributing and communicating effectively with other team members to ensure a positive, smooth workflow and outstanding customer service. Requirements for the Customer Service Assistant role: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers to provide clear and concise information while providing satisfactory resolutions. Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and customer information management. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset to manage priorities effectively, and meet deadlines. Enjoyment in exceeding customer expectations and going above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction. Proficiency in using Apple Mac computers is desired. Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
