About the Role
The Cyber Resilience Manager will develop the ability of SSE Renewables to protect itself from, detect, respond to and recover from cyber attacks in line with our obligations as an Operator of Essential Services under the NIS regulations.
Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Havant.
Salary: £61,100 – £91,700 + car / car allowance + performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent Full Time Flexible First options available
Key Responsibilities:
– Responsible as a member of the Operational Technology Management Team to support and manage NIS Compliance for Renewables and manage and address any regulatory, audit and compliance gaps.
– Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Security Improvement Programme Team, comprising of both internal and 3rd party staff, including budget management, planning, team culture and performance management.
– Manage the delivery of the Security Improvement Program.
– Responsible for ensuring appropriate skills are in place and for establishing team development and succession plans to meet longer terms skills needs.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
– Experience within a compliance or operational technology risk environment with a track record of successful delivery.
– Relevant and previous experience of regulatory compliance to NIS standards and the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) in GB and knowledge of NIS2 in the European Union.
– An understanding of Operational Technology and associated real time risk and articulate proposed solutions to business problems, forming judgements based on logical conclusions drawn from the available facts.
– You will be an effective communicator and have excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills that enable you to work with all levels of the organisation, including senior management and executive level.
