Cyber Security Operations Manager

Circa £70,000 – £75000

Hampshire (Hybrid x2 days week onsite)

I am working with a UK industry-leading organisation who are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Operations Manager. The client is embarking on an ambitious company strategy which includes developing from scratch an internal SOC capability to work alongside an existing outsoarced SOC provider.

As Cyber Security Operations Manager you will be responsible for developing from scratch and leading a small internal SOC function of L1 and L2 SOC Analysts will develop the SOC capability from scratch and grow a team of L1/L2 SOC analysts so we need someone who is familiar with doing this previouslyand can be an enabler to change in the business, lead and grow the team, someone familiar with IDS/IPS, set up a SIEM, improve/increase vulnerability assessments/ransomware exercises and ensure cyber sec operations adhere to the relevant standards and policies.

Workingon a hybrid basis with the expectation that you can travel into the office 2 times per week (on average). They offer free parking and public transport links are extremely close by.

Requirements Needed

• Proven experience developing and leading a SOC function
• High level knowledge of Cyber Security policies and frameworks, SIEM and Threat Management
• Proven experience managing SOC teams and working with external SOC providors
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and their teams.
