Depot Coordinator Bishops Waltham 28 days’ annual leave plus 8 days’ bank holiday Pension scheme Life Assurance Personal Accident Insurance Milestone Infrastructure is currently looking to recruit a Depot Coordinator to work on our Hampshire Highways contract in Bishops Waltham. As a Depot Coordinator you will be part of our Operations team who are responsible for delivery planned and reactive maintenance across Hampshire’s road network. Milestone Infrastructure works closely with our client, Hampshire County Council, to maintain over 8,529km of carriageway, 6,115km of footways and 1,800 structures. This requires us to deliver a range of services from responding to emergencies on the network, repairing damaged road surfaces & filling potholes, cleaning drainage, cutting back vegetation, broken manholes or gullies, kerbs or paving slabs right through to major resurfacing programmes. We also deliver the Winter Maintenance service running a fleet of gritters to ensure Hampshire’s roads are kept running and kept safe. As a Depot Coordinator your duties & responsibilities will be: Support Stores person with managing stock items. Lead on materials ordering, GRN and cost capture at job level Ordering and management of consumables for Depot and Office Raising requisitions Stocktake and inventory control Office duties to include stationary ordering, filing, timesheets & leave sheets, HAVS records, waste transfer notices etc. Support the depot training coordination and help maintain records of inductions, TBT and briefings. Keep depot communications current eg. notice boards and safety boards Support Depot inspection test plans (eg. temperature checks, Legionella checks, calibration records) Plant on/off hire/exchanges and reconciliation of Live Hire and Invoices Support other Depot and Office activities as required (for example safety audits, fire drills, attendance at Stakeholder engagement meetings etc)Skills & Knowledge Requirements Good IT skills and comfortable with Microsoft Office apps (mostly Excel & Word) but familiar with use SharePoint, Teams, Forms etc. Excellent organisation skills Ability to analyse information for inaccuracies and work through systems to correct Familiar with Health Safety requirements within a busy operational environment Skilled in providing administrative support, preferably within a technical environment Motivated self-starter who wants to learn & get involved with the day to day running of a busy highways maintenance depot.Additional Information The role is predominantly office based however you will be required to support the stores team and supervisors with stocktakes, materials sign out, audits and inspections which take place in the working depot and in all weathers If you are interested in supporting our Winter maintenance service (either as a driver or in a supervisory capacity), full training can be provided.This excellent opportunity is the chance to be working for an organisation leading the way in reducing carbon emissions, driving a circular economy approach, and increasing biodiversity.
