Position Description

CGI is currently hiring a DevOps Engineer with expertise in cloud technologies such as Azure. You will be responsible for creating automated, reliable, and repeatable deployment pipelines. Creating cloud solutions that are secure, whilst working with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD principles.

In this DevOps Engineer role, you will be working in an environment with Windows & Linux infrastructure. Ensuring development outputs are suitably integrated into release modules. Taking the lead in progressing these through the relevant stages into live service and supporting of the release-to-service process including security and accreditation processes.

This is a hybrid working role. Due to the secure nature of the project, you will have a couple of days travel to a site in Gloucester.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The DevOps Engineer will have attributes in the following areas:

– Strong communication skills
– Server Design and Architecture
– Private Cloud capabilities and considerations
– Develop application and infrastructure test scripts.
– Execute tests for build testing.
– Good Knowledge of Azure – specifically functions/logic apps/event grid
– Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD.
– Hands-on Azure engineering experience
– Ansible
