Diagnostic Medical Physics Expert (Band 8a or 8b equivalent)

• The successful Diagnostic Medical Physics Expert will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to the medical physics team on a range of diagnostic imaging techniques.
• Provide advice and support to medical and technical staff in the areas of diagnostic medical physics and radiation protection
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for diagnostic imaging equipment
• Undertake audits and assessments of radiation protection practices
• Provide training and education to staff on best practices and radiation protection measures
• Monday – Friday , 09:00 – 17:30 (often 7am start as to not disturb departments)
• Circa £150,000 per annum (negotiable)
• Must be willing to drive & travel to other sites
• Must have at least a years’ UK experience in a similar role.
