Job Title: Data Collection TechniciansJob Location: West London start then travel to East London (Gidea Park, Ilford, Plumstead, Shenfield) Hourly Pay Rate: £24.73 PAYE or £31.63 Umbrella. Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off nights 19:00 – 05:00Duration: OngoingStart Date: ASAP Industries Considered: Rolling Stock, Aviation, Plant, Automotive, HGV, PCV, Communication Engineers, Marine and Armed Forces EX Electrical and Mechanical EngineersPosition SummaryYou will be responsible for carrying out routine Data downloads from multiple Class 345 Electric Multiple Unit across0 depots in East London. Following a set procedure in line with vehicle maintenance instructions (VMI’s) you will undertake Data download and collection duties and be required to send these files to a central hub. All work is carried out to ensure that a safe, reliable, and defect free train is provided. You will take responsibility for the safe, efficient and professional workmanship of oneself. Key responsibilities will include: Down load train data from onboard train data recorders using laptops System software updates as required Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all documentation prior to Shift Production Manager (SPM) validation and authorisation. Responsible to the Shift Production Manager for the accurate identification of outstanding work at the end of the shift. Highlighting potential Health and Safety concerns Compliance with all laid down H&S legislation and depot procedures to ensure a safe accident free environmentIdeal CandidateA diligent professional able to work well as an individual or in a team.
