Digital Project Manager We are seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to join an exciting charity that is growing rapidly in the education sector. Position: Digital Project Manager Location: London/remote working at least 1 day per week in the office (Tuesday or Wednesday) and you can choose whether to work from the office or remotely on other days. Hours: Part-time (0.6 FTE, 3 days a week) flexible working patterns can be discussed Contract: Fixed term 18 months Salary: £36,000 – £45,000 pro-rata depending on experience (inc. About the role: As an organisation that has grown rapidly over the last few years, the employer is now at the point where they need to consolidate, streamline, and develop new functionality within their digital processes, including Salesforce, internal data collection tools and other platforms. As Digital Project Manager you will lead and deliver the next stage of the charity s digital transformation. You will be responsible for ensuring the digital roadmap for the next 2 years is delivered on time and within budget. You will lead the development of the digital systems through the management of the appointed external consultants from initial scoping and discovery through to testing and deployment. You will work closely with the in-house Salesforce and Systems Administrator to prioritise tasks, escalate issues, and monitor progress. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving social mobility and tackling educational inequality. While the role offers the chance to build transferable skills in impact evaluation and leadership, there will also be opportunities to support the charity across other aspects of its work. Key responsibilities will include: The successful delivery rollout of our digital development project by August 2025. Identifying and closely managing any risks associated with the delivery of the digital project and working with the Executive Leadership Team to develop solutions to mitigate these. Establishing and attending project meetings to report on project progress, finances, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including the Board of Trustees, Executive Team, and wider staff team. Ensuring the agreed sign-off process is followed by the Executive Team for the different project phases (i.e., Build, QA, Deployment). Lead the relationship and management of the appointed external contractors to deliver the project work successfully, on time and within budget. Working closely with the Director of Impact to identify key metrics to be measured and incorporated into organisational dashboards. Working effectively across the organisation to ensure the success of our digital work and that KPIs are achieved in line with our organisational culture. Prioritising safeguarding and the safety of the young people we work with, ensuring this is embedded across our digital roadmap, and following every element of our safeguarding policy without fail. Essential requirements of the Digital Project Manager include: Commitment to the organisation s mission and values, including a passion for tackling educational inequality. An excellent communicator and influencer with senior stakeholders (both internal and external) experienced and effective in cross-team working. An effective project manager on complex multi-stakeholder projects, with the ability to plan, prioritise and organise your own workload to meet deadlines. Minimum of 5 years experience in digital project management with proven experience in transitioning projects to business as usual. Proficiency in IT packages required for project management, plus general office IT skills. Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
