About The Role Pump Rental Solutions are looking for a passionate and committed Director of Solutions and Electrical Development. You will be required to fully manage the regional Solutions team and Electrical team Nationally to ensure projects are safe, efficient, and competitive, whilst leading the team to ensure the business is commercially and environmentally compliant across our projects utilising the solutions, electrical and on-site delivery teams. Proactively work to promote the business aligned with the Sales team and the company business plans. Responsibilities of this role: You will lead and manage a strict, robust Health & Safety culture, driving and creating an environment where good practices are a way of everyday life and total compliance is adhered to. You will be able to lead the team s ensuring they accurately plan, price and install projects across the region You will be able to guide and mentor the Solutions and Electrical team s ensuring everyone is working to the highest standards, always following best practice. You will be required to set key objectives and milestones for direct reporting staff and ensure these are met within times lines set. You will need to ensure accurate, detailed reports to SLT / ELT team are delivered within timescales provided by the business. You will ensure the teams are working collaboratively with the Revit design and Temporary works staff, ensuring objectives are met and compliance, along with best practice is demonstrated at all times. You will work closely with the Project Delivery team to ensure upcoming projects are programmed in and documentation is prepared in readiness for the project start date, Nationally for Electrical and regionally for Solutions projects. You will be work with the SLT and ELT team to ensure business cases for new opportunities are prepared and discussed in full. You will be responsible and pro-actively manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders ensuring optimal delivery of their expectations. Qualifications & Experience: You will need to be experienced in working in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment as you will be balancing multiple workstreams, whilst also working with several different clients and build partners in parallel, ensuring smooth efficiency and strong output through your teams. A full UK driving licence is required for this position due to the role requiring the successful applicant traveling to and from multiple locations nationwide. Ability and willingness to travel within territory and throughout the UK as and when necessary. Extensive knowledge of Electrical / Mechanical over pumping solutions both in a temporary / permanent environment Experience of successfully managing a team, being able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to develop, coach, motivate and engage a team. Connecting and collaborating intensively within your team and across the organisation. A leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen and offer sound feedback. Creating a vision for the business and the wider team, the ability to adapt and be decisive in a rapid pace environment. Proven background in leading a demanding role whilst driving growth, maximising sales and profitability. Setting clear objectives aligned to regional goals, utilising modern platforms to interconnect all employees and departmental functions. Ensuring the customer experience maximises quality and service. Experience of leading and demanding a non-negotiable Health & Safety culture, driving, and creating a safe environment where good practices are a way of everyday life and total compliance is adhered to. Getting your teams home safely every day. You need to demonstrate the ability to motivate and encourage the team as this is essential to the success of our business. Proven track record of raising the standards within a team. Computer literate. Be able to analyse data on Microsoft Packages such as Project / excel / word / PowerPoint. Ability to be able to lead and mentor others to ensure all are working to the same high standard, developing viable project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Good understanding of process requirements and the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses across the team and business processes. Demonstrate project managements skills to be able to ensure smooth delivery of successful projects. Compliant accurate record keeping is important to this role. Ability to act proactively / be forward thinking whilst maintaining a methodical, attention to detail approach. Flexibility to support the business to get the job done understanding the requirements of all stakeholders while maintaining a safe environment for all. Understanding of all SHEQ requirements to uphold high levels of safety for our projects adhering to all safety legislation, ensuring staff, clients and visitors are kept safe.
