MEP Electrical Design Engineer – South Manchester Hybrid working

Your new company
Your new company is based in South Manchester an has 40 years of trusted design experience who’s project values range from £500k – £300m. Some of their most recent projects are with the likes of Manchester United, DW Sports, Stoke Football club, Large cinema complexes, Mid to high-rise residential, Liverpool town developments and residential schemes across the UK.
They have sustainability at the heart of their designs offering consultations and surveys to multiple clients across the country.
They work 2 days each week from home, have an onsite car park, work a 37.5 hour week and are based just off of the motorway for an easy commute.

Your new role
Your new role will see you working as an MEP Electrical design engineer across the multiple schemes mentioned above and depending on your experience, will involve you aiding junior staff with their designs while completing your own conceptual and detailed designs using design software such as AutoCAD, Amtech or Havecomp and Dialux.
Using your up to date understanding of sustainable building designs you will develop and assist with feasibility reports.

What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have a solid understanding of building services design and site visits, a minimum of 5 years’ post-degree UK building services experience and a full UK driving licence and car as site visits occur 2-3 times per-week.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following sectors: Commercial, Residential, Education, Retail, Data Centres and Historic Buildings.
