We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Team Leader to join our Maintenance team based in our Immingham Plant. Job Purpose You are responsible for the management, supervision, coordination and development of the electrically biased shift and day-based maintenance technicians. Through this team you will ensure efficient and effective preventative and reactive maintenance of plant assets. As a leadership role within the maintenance function, you also have a collective responsibility to ensure plant, process and infrastructure safety, performance, availability, and reliability. Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities: You are required to follow company Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others others. Risk assesses planned works and select appropriate risk mitigation for identified risks. To engage with topical specialists from within the wider Knauf group both to develop process knowledge and ensure best practice is carried out. Promote the use of SAP CMMS. Develop and maintain CMMS content for area of responsibility and ensure team are completing reports and work orders within the correct timeframe. Prepare and cascade workload to maintenance team. Generating permit to works for engineering activities as part of the maintenance job packs. Select PM/Pdm/CBM/RTF strategies as appropriate to prevent failure causes and eliminate failure modes. Use SAP and excel/Microsoft office to Monitor achievement to the schedule, identifying corrective actions and improvements to ensure plant KPI targets are achieved. Interrogate databases to develop management reports, build Performance graphs and report financial information. Communicate maintenance updates, Policies, procedures and updates to maintenance team. Lead, mentor and coach the maintenance technicians in your reporting line to achieve the plant and maintenance objectives. Complete appraisals, disciplinaries, return to works etc. Prepare and cascade workload to maintenance team. Together with the wider engineering function, to engage in planned maintenance activity scheduling and coordination, ensuring that tasks are appropriate, standardised and executed on time and to the right standard. To coordinate and supervise service and repair contractors, ensuring at all times the opportunity to develop knowledge is recorded. Provide an active contribution to the activities and responsibilities of the engineering department, supporting and providing cover for colleagues where required (Inc. out of hours as a rota) Anything commensurate to complete your role. Requirements: HNC/HND in Mechanical engineering Completed an engineering-based apprenticeship to NVQL3. Exposure to basic mechanical engineering Awareness of current workplace health and safety legislation. Ideally having achieved a NEBOSH certificate or minimum IOSH Managing safety. Safety should be a key priority for you. Experience of generating SSOW and assessing risk A role model in communication. You should be proficient in spoken and written English. You will be expected to interact with internal and external stakeholders within the business Held a similar position as maintenance Team Leader or Technical lead, with experience of leading people Experience in Condition Based Maintenance Technique selection Vibration Analysis, Thermography. Ability to select/Plan most suitable technology for application Self-motivating with the ability to achieve goals whilst working to tight deadlines Computer literate, Able to interrogate and plan through CMMS, Able to produce graphs/KPI s and data through Excel and utilize these to drive forward our team. Trained in the use of Microsoft office including Microsoft Project and Excel It is desirable that you have a good understanding of professional maintenance and the experience/Training to select appropriate maintenance strategy for each asset. Knowledge of CI and lean techniques would be advantageous Leadership qualification or willingness to work towards one Levelheaded under pressure.
