About the Role: We are recruiting for a Resident Maintenance Engineering Manager for our client based at the Daventry International Rail Freight Terminal (DIRFT). This is an outstanding career opportunity and offers an array of benefits to include:

As the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:

• Leading the maintenance team, analysing fault and technical data
• Create the site PPM plan and ensuring all activities are carried out and up to date
• Provide technical support to the customer and be the main point of contact onsite including attending customer meetings
• Compile and deliver reports to both the customer and central support team to ensure all KPI’s and SLA’s are achieved
• Effective management of spares onsite, including the accounts
• Staff appraisals, management performance, recruitment and mentoring of engineering team members
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and responsible for H&S onsite

The role is Monday to Friday Days, however hours outside are to expected as site is 24/7

Requirements: We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager who has the following:

• HNC or Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Engineering
• Experience in the Automation industry to include both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
• Experience on a customer site and delivering a contract to a high standard
• Computer skills to include – MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Teams
• Strong leadership skills to include coaching ,mentoring
