Role: Fabricator Welder MIG x2 Location: Bradford, WF17 or BD11 Hours: Monday to Thursday only! 7am – 5pm Monday to Wed, 7am-4.30pm Thursday Pay: £29,172 (works out at £14.96ph basic Monday to Thursday only!) T+1/2 Fridays Fabricator Welder (MIG welding mild steels 3-15mm range) required for an engineering firm who specialise in bespoke fabrication projects looking to increase head count due to increased order books and massive contract wins! Alongside Strong order books they offer pension and T+1/2 overtime available on Fridays! As MIG Fabricator Welder your day to day duties will cover (but not be limited to): Required to carry out a MIG MAG Fillet and Butt Weld TEST on site. MIG/ MAG welding to high standards on Carbon (mild) steels Ranging in thicknesses from 3mm upto 15mm (possibly thicker on some projects) Fabricating to a quality specification finish onto pipe spools or brackets for bespoke ongoing projects Plater Welder with experience doing MIG welding on carbon steel products Working from welding drawings with minimal supervision This is a shop based role with no requirement to be out on site Operating steel cutters, grinders, shotblasters where required, training given All other general fab shop duties expected of the Fabricator Welder across the day The successful Fabricator Welder will have: Understanding & competent of multiple welding practices inc. MMA, MIG / MAG Use of plasma & Oxy Acy cutting equipment Competent in steel work fabrications in line with drawings, specs, dims & tolerances Safe setup & use of welding plant and equipment Understanding of welding defects and possible causes Overtime available.
