Facilities Technician – Music College – £21,000 to £23,000 pro rata per year depending on experience – London, E1
The Role

Join our team at CM, a leading provider of world-class creative arts education since 1983. As a Facilities Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our resources, training rooms, and facilities are in optimal working order, creating an environment that supports our education delivery. From maintaining machines and equipment to overseeing room bookings and timetabling, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all resources are in working order for education delivery.
Maintenance of machines and equipment, organising servicing.
Maintain asset register and the ordering of stock.
Maintenance of facilities on site including I.T.
Assist with technical setups.
Provide ‘on call’ tech support.
Troubleshoot, fault finding and correcting any problems or processes.
Act as the in-house studio and live sound engineer.

The Person
Experience in music production, live sound and studio engineering.
A good understanding of the music tech environment.
Experience with Logic Pro X and other industry standard studio equipment.
Experience with maintenance of machines and equipment.
Experience in planning, delivery and meeting deadlines.
Experience in similar role at a previous HE, FE or private music school.
Good people and diplomacy skills.
