Description
As their Field Service Engineer you will be travelling to customer manufacturing sites, inspecting, servicing & installing company equipment into their processes, as well as:
Key Responsibilities:
Working with heavy duty manufacturing equipment, including installation, upgrades, maintenance and equipment inspections at a customer site (Airblasting, Wheelblast & Mass finishing)
Responsible for solving problems, fixing equipment, reducing downtime
Being the face of the company and supporting our customers by helping them get the best performance from their equipment
Flexibility is required, at times this can be a demanding role and there is an expectation the candidate will be willing to regularly travel throughout the Midlands & South of the UK
Monday – Friday (8 Hours – anything over is paid Overtime)
Weekend work may be required
Travel to Ireland/Scotland may be required sporadically
Company Vehicle provided for work use
Profile
You will be an experienced Service/Field Service technician/engineer, with experience in mechanical engineering, as well as:
Recognised Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled)
Knowledge of pneumatics (Fault finding)
Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
Strong communication, both internally & onsite with customers
Full UK driving license
Enthusiastic attitude to learn & adapt to new equipment & technology
Welding experience would be desirable
Job Offer
£35,000 – £40,000 + Overtime Available (OTE £50-60k)
