We currently represent approximately 22,000 students from varied and diverse backgrounds, with 68% being first generation university attendees. The role We are looking to appoint a part time Finance Business Partner to take the lead in the finance function. In particular the role holder will: Ensure strong financial management and controls; Build effective relationships with key internal stakeholders; Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory and procedural requirements; and Provide financial and business insight to support decision making. Supported by an Assistant Business Partner you will also produce budgets, devise new and improved processes, oversee payroll and pensions and supervise daily bookkeeping and banking. The person The ideal candidate will: Be ACCA or CIMA qualified; Have demonstrable experience in financial management including management accounting; Be a confident communicator; Be able to analyse and interpret data and present it in appropriate forms to help inform decision making; and Be adaptable and great at solving problems. This is a part-time role, and it is expected that you will work on site for 3-4 days per week.
