Reporting into the Head of Finance this role is the key finance point of contact for the Divisional Director for a number of service centres, to advise and guide on all aspects of financial management andcontrol of Trust resources and assets.

Description
Deliver commercial business partnering service to operations which incorporates proactive review and analysis of the division, facilitates operational decision making and drives improvement in trading performance
Review and finalise regional management accounts in a timely and accurate manner ensuring they are robust and accurately reflect current trading performance in conjunction with the shared service team for management accounting
Deliver meaningful and insightful commentary which supports the accounts and reflects key business issues In conjunction with divisional management, produce a rolling risks, issues and opportunities report for review
Regular review of KPI’s and management information to identify trends and emerging issues in order that mitigating action can be take
Work with operations to produce realistic but challenging budgets and forecasts in accordance with the Trust timetable
Support Divisional Director and Head of Finance (Commercial and Property) in agreeing proposed annual fee reviews for all payers
Profile
Qualified accountant
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a medium sized company and management position
Preparation and presentation of management accounts, annual budgets and
forecasts
Knowledge of current accounting and reporting standards
Strong understanding of Financial Controls
Computer literate – proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel to an intermediate
