Senior Finance Business Partner responsible for the financial and commercial support for the Divisional Sales and Marketing, and Music businesses, as well as supporting Finance Director on other cross-Divisional programmes.

The role is a member of the Senior Leadership Team, and will act as a business partner to the Sales Director, Marketing Director and Music Group leads of the business units.

Description

Senior Finance Business Partner responsible for the financial and commercial support for the Divisional Sales and Marketing as well as supporting Finance Director on other cross-Divisional programmes.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivery of financial results

• • Turnover and budgets are on track or ahead of target. Product mix, customer mix, pricing and their impacts on trading margins are also on target.

• Definition and delivery of strategy

• • Evidence of insightful and objective partnership with the UK Executive to define strategic priorities and delivery measurable for the business, and ensuring execution against them.

• Planning, budgeting and forecasting

• • Delivery of a quality and timely strategy, five year plan and budget for Academic areas.

Profile

To be considered for this position you will meet the following criteria:

1) Qualified Accountant

2) Industry experience gained in a relevant sector like Advertising/ Marketing/ Publishing

3) Proven business partner for large complex sales/ marketing division ( revenues > £300m)

4) Able to work 2 days in the office ( Oxford)

5) Full UK right to work
