Finance Change Delivery Programme Manager (12 month FTC) The Role: We are seeking a Finance Change Delivery Lead to join our team and drive transformation within our finance systems and processes across the UK and Europe. In this role, you will work closely with our CFO and Finance COO to oversee major change initiatives, including technical integration, from start to finish. As the key driver of finance transformation, you will collaborate with data and technology teams, as well as key Finance stakeholders, to review existing systems, build a roadmap, and implement and oversee change. Your responsibilities will encompass complex activities, financial systems, and projects, ensuring their functionality and effectiveness. Note: This is a 12-month FTC with a flexible location and occasional travel required Responsibilities: Oversee the delivery of major finance transformation and change activities, including large system implementations. Plan and report on activities, considering project dependencies and aligning with the Finance Target Operating Model (TOM) and system strategy. Collaborate with the Group Financial COO to establish medium to long-term strategies for finance system implementations, integration, and data landscape. Work with subject matter experts to achieve the desired goals. Engage with other Group technology implementations from a finance perspective, ensuring finance requirements are met (e.g., HR/Payroll implementation). Act as the key liaison between the Finance department and system architecture and data teams. Represent the Finance department in technology initiatives and oversee data migration and implementation. Identify major systems projects across the company that may impact the Finance department. Assess the impact, gather Finance business requirements, and contribute to the project, including testing. Manage all Finance systems from the business user perspective. Develop and execute project plans for system upgrades and changes to accommodate business or accounting adjustments. Promote technology skills within Finance through coordination and deployment of technology training requirements. Develop in-house training on key financial systems for business users. Participate in broader organisational activities and planning, exerting influence as needed. Professional Background, Expertise, and Capabilities: Engaging with senior leaders and stakeholders to optimize solution design, build, and deployment. Gathering requirements, defining systems, and designing solutions. Maximizing standardization, systematization, and simplification of finance processes through new systems, considering dependencies. Overseeing User Acceptance Testing and documenting new systems. Documenting business change impacts and action plans through engagement with business teams. Supporting the Solution Architect in defining enterprise/systems architecture. Designing and implementing all aspects of new systems, including chart of accounts, P2P, payments, VAT, reporting, etc. Working with the wider change team and Finance to create finance process maps, procedures manuals/SOPs, and providing support for training finance and operational teams. Leading end-user training material preparation and delivery to finance and operational teams. Ability to oversee and manage multiple deadlines/portfolio of change.
