Our client, a growing architecture practice who have a variety of projects across commercial, residential, hotel and other sectors in between, are seeking a meticulous Finance Manager to join their inclusive team in central London. This is a standalone role and a key position within the team, and you will be working closely with senior management on a daily basis.
As a Finance Manager, your role encompasses various responsibilities aimed at ensuring the financial health and efficiency of the organisation. The ideal candidate will have worked within a similar role and ideally with some experience in the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
Support in annual budget preparation
Assist in monitoring cash flow and working capital against business plan
Provide information for year-end accounts
Handle credit control and issue statements of accounts
Provide weekly finance updates to Directors
Prepare payment schedules for weekly pay-run
Review client credit risks and generate reports
Perform bookkeeping and manage day-to-day accounts
Manage bill payments and supplier invoicing
Oversee expenses processing and project invoicing
Manage hardware, software credit agreements and finance
Handle payroll and tax-related responsibilities
Administer company pension scheme and auto-enrolment
Manage company expenses and staff professional memberships/subscriptions
Support admin team as and when needed
Stay updated on CPD requirements and provide guidance on new HMRC rules and regulations
Key Skills:
Proven track record in a similar role with verifiable references
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Advanced proficiency in Xero software and intermediate/advanced MS Excel
Confident in working independently and taking ownership of tasks
Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability in problem solving
