Reed Finance are working with a dynamic and rapidly growing company based on the outskirts of Edinburgh looking for an experienced Finance Manager. As the organisation expands their operations, they’re seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join their stable team.

As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of the organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, managing budgets, analysing financial data, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management. This is a leadership position that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
• Monitor and control cash flow, working capital, and expenditures.
• Prepare Management Accounts
• Carry out various monthly/quarterly financial reconciliations and monthly close activities.
• Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA is desirable but not essential.
• Proven experience working in a similar finance management role.
• In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing a team.
• Proficiency in using SAGE and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
