FINANCE MANAGERLEEDS£40,000 – £50,000 + BENEFITS12 MONTH FTCHYBRID WORKING

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get Recruited is partnered with an established Solicitors based in Leeds. The Law firm have gone from strength to strength over the last few years and are looking to hire a Finance Manager to join the business on a FTC basis, to cover maternity leave for the current Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will lead a team direct reports and report into the Head of Finance

FINANCE MANAGER DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• To report to the Head of Finance on the financial performance of the organisation
• To produce statutory accounts and ensure all Companies Act requirements are met.
• To prepare budgets and forecasts
• To prepare and submit all taxation returns (VAT, CT, employment taxes etc) and to ensure compliance with taxation regulation.
• To prepare monthly financial statements along with related reports.
• To ensure compliance with Solicitor’s Accounts Rules
• To ensure accuracy of the financial accounting information
• Manage the cash flow of the organisation.
• Management and development of the finance team
• To meet client requirements in relation to billing, banking and funds transfer
• Continuous improvement of financial processes and systems
• Act as back up to Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer for the organisation

FINANCE MANAGER KEY EXPERIENCE

• 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SRA’s) beneficial
• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified
• Advanced Excel
