Finance Manager (Capital and Assets Accounting)Salary: £59,000-£67,000Location: IslingtonAkton Resourcing are currently working with a local authority to recruit a Finance Manager to join the finance team. The role holder will be responsible for: Capital accounting and maintaining the fixed asset register, including the year-end valuations process. Production of the Statement of Accounts in accordance with the Code of Practice on Local Authority Accounting and international and accounting standards. Interpreting and advising on the implication of changes to the Code of Practice. PFI and lease accounting, including the implementation of IFRS 16.
