Your Company:A global manufacturing business is partnering with the team at NET Professional so search the market for an experienced Finance Manager – Record to Report (R2R) to join the finance team located in the Windsor area. This company has multiple office locations across the EMEA region and are truly a global competitor within the industry that they function, showing positive signs of growth and development year upon year. Reporting into the General Manager – Group Finance covering the UK, this position will prove important in the management of outsourced partners, relating to R2R and the company’s ability to streamline and perfect their procedures and processes. Additionally, there will be elements of monthly reporting and accounting to ensure the function and wider business are on track for meeting KPIs and targets.Your Role & ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to: Working collaboratively with the General Manager – Group Finance Leading the R2R finance team in the regional area Managing the R2R partners that are outsourced, ensuring the quality and timely service of functions including fixed assets, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger maintenance and share services accounting processes Managing contract module and IFRS 16 accounting Reviewing financial processes, controls and procedures, and identifying possible improvements Ensuring activities are compliant with accounting and internal policies and procedures Supporting the procurement of information in preparation for external and internal audits, which will include J-SOX Conducting monthly tasks such as the reconciliation of intercompany balances, preparing and posting month end journals, closing all branch accounts on a monthly basis and conducting variance analysisWhat you will need to Apply:To be considered for this position, applicants will need to be a qualified accountant and show strong post-qualification experience, of at least 3-5 years minimum. Additionally, candidates must have experience in handling matters and daily tasks relating to IFRS, contract modules and R2R and have successfully managed a Business Process Outsourcing partner. It is important that applicants possess an intermediate understanding in Microsoft Excel, including VLookups and Pivot Tables and also have additional knowledge of J-SOX. Excellent communication skills and an ambitious, diligent approach to work will also be expected.What you will get in Return:In return for the successful acquisition of this role, the candidate can expect a starting salary in the range of £55,000 to £65,000, dependent on previous relevant experience, in a similar role and technical knowledge that has been acquired. This will accompany a package that will include a generous bonus of around 15%, excellent holiday allowance, competitive pension scheme and other monetary and appealing discounts and incentives.As well as the above, the candidate will obtain exceptional accounting exposure, working within a highly successful global business, handling matters across the regions and dealing with important processes and procedures.
