Finance Manager – Shared Services

Butler Rose is exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager, Shared Services for one of our long-standing clients in Exeter. This is a 12 months fixed-term contract role with hybrid working.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will manage the shared service team and ensure that timely and accurate information is provided to support the production of monthly and annual accounts.

Key duties will include:

• Adhering to standard processes across the team
• Providing a link between the shared service team and the financial accounting team
• Analyse key data and establish KPIs to ensure effective and accurate operation of the purchase and sales ledger functions
• Support the accounts payable team lead in resolution of outstanding purchase ledger queries by liaising with internal departments (purchasing, procurement, and warehouse) and external vendors to ensure successful completion.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of the financial statements.
• Assist with both internal and external auditors.
• Ad-hoc duties to support team as and when required.

The successful candidate with ideally be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), although those who are qualified by experience with relevant skills will also be considered. You will have good team management skills and be used to working in a fast-paced environment.
