To support their further growth and expansion plans, they’re looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join their growing, fast paced 8-person team and work across supplier accounts as well as internal finances. Amazing opportunity involving direct collaboration with the Head Of Commercial Finance that’s a great next step for someone.

Location: Hybrid working from Trafford with 1 day WFH

Finance Officer: Responsibilities

• Match supplier accounts to supplier statements
• Keep on top of accounts payable, cash management and general ledger systems
• Initiate new supplier accounting and ensure existing accounts are updated
• Engage in invoicing, compliance, processing, Protex order processing & Reconciliation of purchase orders to inventory records
• Maintain stock balances
• Organise daily payment run to suppliers so raw materials remain moving.
• Monitor cashflow implications
• Adhoc support to ensure goods arrive on time

Finance Officer – Requirements

• Relevant commercial experience in a similar finance admin role
• Fine-tuned communication skills across a variety of mediums
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly numerate with a natural affinity for problems solving, workload management and multitasking
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes
• High level experience of Microsoft Excel
