As the Manufacturing Site Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations and ensuring the financial stability and success of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who possesses strong financial acumen and has a passion for driving financial performance in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variances for the manufacturing site.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the overall business objectives.

Financial Reporting:

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
• Provide financial information and analysis to support decision-making processes.

Cost Control and Budgeting:

• Monitor manufacturing site expenses and identify opportunities to optimize costs.
• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process for the site.
• Work closely with operational teams to improve cost efficiency and profitability.

Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate working capital for the manufacturing site.
• Implement effective cash flow forecasting and reporting mechanisms.
• Develop strategies to optimize cash management and minimize financial risks.

Financial Governance and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing any findings and implementing appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records and documentation.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and develop a small finance team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.
• Adopt and drive forward a continuous improvement attitude

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant ACCA, CIMA, ACA or Equivalent
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience in cost control and budgeting.
• Proficiency in using financial management systems and tools.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
