We are looking for a results-driven and confident financial controller to manage and improve our Company’s financial performance and direct our accounting operations.

The role will be based in Perth.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm with hour unpaid lunch break (negotiable)

Salary

Dependent on experience –

£15.40 per hour

(negotiable)

What will I be doing?

Own monthly/annual financial close process and produce financial statements/reports.

Analyse financial data

Quarterly UK, German & Irish VAT returns

Monitor cashflow over Sterling, US Dollar & Euro accounts.

Prepare/analyse commission statements for UK sales agents.

Understand and oversee cash recording/reconciliation.

Oversee all accounting operations.

Implement and maintain good internal controls.

Co-ordinate audit processes

Staff handling (friendly team of 5)

What are we looking for?

To successfully fill this role, the attitudes, behaviours, skills and values that follow below are desirable.

Strong leadership qualities

Proficiency and confidence in MS Office (particularly Excel) are essential.

Good communication and analytical skills

Proven experience in finance management with sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals

Proficiency in accounting software

Must demonstrate good initiative with exceptional attention to detail and numerical proficiency within

defined deadlines.

A team player who is honest, flexible, confident and engaging

Previous experience in the same or similar role

Previous experience in import/export processes advantageous.
