Midas Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with this exciting, high-tech business as they create a new role of Financial Reporting and Planning Analyst.

An established and successful innovative market leader, this company is a pioneer in the creation and application of high-tech solutions. They’re now expanding their knowledgeable and experienced finance team, and are offering a salary between £55,000 and £60,000 plus a bonus and car scheme, along with softer benefits which include pension contribution, gym membership, life assurance, 25 days holiday, and private medical care.

Upon joining, you’ll be responsible for:

• The production of detailed financial reports e.g. actuals v budget v forecast, to provide visibility of the financial and operational performance of the business
• Ensuring that expenditures are accurately recorded, and correctly allocated between current and capex categorisation
• Preparation of financial models, flexing for varying scenarios
• Monitoring trends in financial performance and flagging up and investigating any concerns
• Ensuring that due consideration is given to any regulatory changes that may impact financial reporting and financial plans/budgets.

This is an important role for the business and is aimed at a qualified Accountant who has commercial acumen and is able to work well with both financial and non-financial colleagues. Experience gained in an accounting firm and in industry would be beneficial and it’s imperative that you have strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Offered as a permanent position, with 4 days being based in the office near Banbury and 1 day at home.
