The Role: As the Financial Reporting and Tax Manager, you will be a key member of an established finance team, ensuring compliance with statutory accounting and tax regulations. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records, managing tax reporting, and providing valuable insights to drive our business forward. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and timely statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards.
• Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including corporate tax returns, VAT, and other indirect tax obligations.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure our company remains compliant with evolving tax regulations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide tax advice, resolve queries, and support tax planning initiatives.
• Develop and implement effective internal controls and processes to safeguard financial reporting and tax compliance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial reporting and tax management.

Requirements:

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA or ACA are highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in statutory accounting and tax compliance within a multinational company or a reputable accounting firm.
• In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax legislation relevant to corporate tax and VAT.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.
