Reed Finance are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a global asset manager on the recruitment of their next FP&A Analyst within their infrastructure group.

This FP&A Analyst role is an extremely exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic global team within one of the world’s largest infrastructure investors.

This FP&A Analyst role will be reporting directly to the Director, Finance with the objective to partner effectively with European operating businesses and internal stakeholders to drive performance and build a best-in-class finance function.

This role requires a fully qualified Accountant either ACA or ACCA with 1-2 years post qualified experience in a finance or accounting function ideally with an audit background.

This role does have 5 days a week in the office policy but there is flexibility at quieter times.

Key Responsibility of this FP&A Analyst role but not limited to:

• Provide timely, high-quality FP&A (results and liquidity forecasting, growth capital and backlog analysis, KPI analysis, etc) to enable sound decision making
• Direct involvement in annual business planning and valuation processes for the European platform, including review and data manipulation of complex financial models
• Preparation of quarterly results presentation for senior management
• Review of quarterly/annual financial reporting (IFRS and private funds) submissions by operating assets, and assist in preparation of opening balance sheets using purchase price accounting
• Develop a thorough understanding of operating businesses in order to explain performance and strategic issues in a clear, concise manner
• Assist in onboarding and integration of new assets and accounting processes
• Frequent communication with the finance teams of operating businesses
• Identify ways to improve and streamline processes and manage ad-hoc strategic analysis and special projects

Required knowledge, skills & experience:

• 2.1 degree or above undergraduate degree, ideally in Business, Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting qualification – ACA or ACCA with 1-2 years post qualified experience ideally in a finance or accounting function.
• Experience working infrastructure, asset management or investment management would be highly desirable.
• Strong financial systems experience including advanced Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability as well as ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with an additional European language desirable;
• Self-motivated and pro-active, with respect to both managing workload and professional development.
