Full Stack Developer (C# and React)

Our client, a leading international asset manager, is looking for a senior developer with a strong Microsoft background to join a high performing team based in London.

You will take a lead, hands-on role within an established team, working on a greenfield project developing cloud native solutions. You will help to set technical direction, will have input into architecture, and will mentor junior members of the team. You will be working closely with the business and must possess strong communication skills.

Role summary and job responsibilities

• Hands on design and development of greenfield software
• Contributing to the ongoing development of technical standards and architectural patterns
• Leading code reviews
• Taking accountability for technical debt
• Taking control of complex problems and stepping through them in a rational way
• Mentoring junior members of the team
• Actively helping team members/make suggestions to improve practices

Skills requirement

• Strong financial services background, ideally gained in a Front Office environment, and ideally buy-side.
• Full stack development experience in a Microsoft environment C#/.Net Core
• Strong experience in Front End development/modern web frameworks (esp.ReactJs/JavaScript)
• Experience working with SQL Server (inc TSQL)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile environment
• Previous experience working with Azure
• Performs peer code reviews.
