Global IT Procurement Manager – Global FTSE 100 Retail Company – London + Hybrid Working – £65,000 – £80,000 + Package

An innovative, inclusive, and successful global retail company is seeking a well-rounded IT Procurement Manager with an abundance of procurement strategy experience. This organisation is renowned for being ahead of the market and have over 10 offices in each continent, providing you with ample amounts of opportunities to progress.

Procurement in this organisation, is like no other! You’ll be rewarded for your hard work through employee recognition programs and will be set up with everything you need to excel in the IT Procurement Manager role. You’ll act as lead and manage key activities which will essentially give you the opportunity to showcase your skills in relationship building, strategic procurement and supplier negotiations to create and deliver strategic opportunities for the procurement function. The ideal candidate will want to expand their portfolio or strengthen existing skills across IT procurement.

Global IT Procurement Manager key responsibilities:

• Use strong commercial awareness to manage senior stakeholders’ ways of thinking, strategy or decision making.
• Lead on high profile negotiations with large enterprise supplier partners to deliver maximum commercial benefits.
• Create and drive initiatives including supplier diversity and inclusion, improvements to working capital and guided buying.
• Develop new and innovative ways to find opportunities by creating procurement strategies in alignment with targeted commercial benefits.

A great IT Procurement Manager will have the following:

• Have end-to-end procurement experience across IT procurement subcategories including but not limited to software, hardware, and telecom networks.
• Have experience managing executive level stakeholders.
• Proven demonstration of negotiating and influencing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong academic record is beneficial but not essential.
