A rapidly expanding HFT trading are seeking a talented and motivated graduate Python developer to join our high-frequency trading (HFT) cryptocurrency trading business.

Their objective is to advance the transition to a truly decentralized trading and cryptocurrency exchange landscape.

As a member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in implementing cutting-edge algorithms and strategies to capitalize on market opportunities in the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency landscape.

Responsibilities:

1. Algorithmic Development: Collaborate with senior traders and quantitative analysts to design and develop sophisticated trading algorithms using Python. This involves analysing market data, identifying patterns, and implementing efficient trading strategies.

2. Code Optimization: Continuously optimize and improve existing code to enhance trading performance and minimize latency. Implement advanced data processing techniques to handle large datasets and Real Time market data.

3. System Integration: Integrate trading algorithms with our HFT infrastructure, ensuring seamless execution and reliability. Work closely with other teams, including infrastructure and risk management, to maintain system stability and scalability.

4. Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cryptocurrency markets and trading technologies. Contribute to ongoing research efforts to identify new trading opportunities and improve trading strategies.

5. Testing and Deployment: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of trading algorithms to ensure accuracy and robustness. Collaborate with the operations team to deploy and monitor trading strategies in live trading environments.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, obtained in 2023/2022 from an Oxbridge or top Russell Group University.

2. Strong proficiency in Python programming. Demonstrated experience in developing and optimizing Python-based applications or algorithms is highly desirable.

3. Knowledge of financial markets and trading concepts, particularly in cryptocurrency trading, is advantageous.

4. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.

5. Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control (eg, Git) and collaborative development environments.

6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to handle complex, Real Time data and make informed trading decisions.

7. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

8. A keen interest in the cryptocurrency industry and an eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and market trends.
