Specialising in small scale and large scale, domestic and commercial, Solar panel design & installation, car charging points and battery storage. Does this sort of growth environment sound like the type of business you’d like to work for?As a Solar Design Consultant, you will be responsible for preparing customer proposals and designs for mainly domestic solar and battery installations. We are also looking for someone with sound sales skills or the desire to work in a role which revolves around the sales of their products, allowing you to earn commission on the targets you hit, as a team and individually. This award-winning business have been established for over 15 years and are now organically growing their business, looking for people to join the company across all their divisions, comprised of Solar installers, Electricians, Design Engineers and Operations. You will ideally understand Renewables or Solar Energy and would like to progress with your career in this sector.They work on a huge range of projects on a domestic and commercial scale, anything from small residential dwellings, all the way up to hospitals. Your role would be to manage commercial projects from start to completion, organising commercial Solar PV, Battery storage and car charger installations. Sound technical skills with a particular eye for detail A passion for sustainability and the solar renewables sector in particular The ability to use technical software packages, such as SketchUp, PVsyst or AutoCAD to name a few. Experience in solar design would be highly advantageous but not necessary. Sales skills or experience working in a client facing position would be desirable but also taught and trained, if not possessed. Sound organisation, project management, coordination, and teamwork skills The ability to drive is essential, as you will be working in a client facing position and on site when required.What they’re offering the successful Solar Design Consultant?
