My client is looking for a brand new Head of Finance to join the team in Liverpool due to some changes internally. You will manage a small team and work closely with the FD.

Description

• Support the Finance and Executive leadership teams in providing a high-quality financial accounting and reporting service and in increasing financial and cash awareness throughout the business
• A strong advocate for adherence to financial policies and procedures, maintaining financial control and governance throughout the business
• Lead a team engaged in the provision of a strong accounting and financial control service, ensuring tight balance sheet control with all control accounts properly reconciled monthly
• Provision of timely and accurate management and financial reports for all statutory and business entities, with variance analysis as required
• Lead a team of Finance Analysts engaged in the preparation of financial analysis, building effective relationships with budget leads and management across the business
• Drive overhead performance in accordance with strategic objectives, using initiative and adopting an innovative approach to cost reduction where appropriate
• Work closely with peer group to ensure joined up reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Develop and deliver relevant and timely periodic and ad-hoc reporting and analysis sufficient to enable the management team to understand financial performance against key levers and KPIs
• Pro-actively investigate variances in expected financial performance
• Ad hoc project work, and other support for finance and the wider business as requested from time to time

Job Offer

• Salary up to £75,000 plus car allowance
• Hybrid working- 2 days in the office
• Flexible hours- core hours of 10-4, flexible around that
