Head of IT – Essex Based

Not for Profit Company based in Southend are looking to recruit an Head of IT.

The successful candidate will be leading a team 12 to deliver planned tech strategy throughout the business as well as managing BAU.

This role is hybrid role

Requirements:.

• Create IT and tech strategy for the business
• Drive and implement process change and continuous improvement
• Lead, motivate and develop the IT team
• A track record of managing the delivery of large technology upgrade projects
• Excellent verbal and technical writing skills; ability to translate IT jargon into layperson’s terms. Good documentation skills.
• Ability to understand user requirements and deliver relevant technology solutions
• Ideally ITIL certified, and evidence of knowledge of ITIL & Project Management methodologies
