Head of Productivity/Deployment – Workforce Management
£70-80k plus bonus and benefits
Hybrid working – London (2x days onsite)
18 month FTC
We are headhunting for the right person to support the UK operations team with the management of day to day labour costs to ensure that budgets are delivered against.
The role will suit someone with prior experience in Operations/Finance/Labour Deployment – using Workforce Management Software.
This is an 18 month fixed term contract.
Key Responsibilities
Working with Operations & Finance teams to ensure that budgeting is correct to drive sales and productivity
Oversee UK Operations teams to ensure they have the correct focus and are able to consistently operate at optimal productivity levels
Working with the under-performing Unit Managers and Operations Managers to improve their labour management performance
Working with business development to ensure new units open with the correct labour to deliver their business case sales and profit
Working with Operations and HR to ensure we have the correct contract base to operate units effectively in peak and off-peak seasons
Using data analysis and WFM tools to monitor labour deployment and identity areas of opportunity
Create insights and recommendations targeted at units with measurable opportunities
Adopt a continuous improvement approach
Analysis of labour spending and processes across all divisions to identify opportunities to drive efficiency through ways of working and investment initiatives
Lead delivery of change programmes – Full ownership of project plan, coordinate the team, be the project face to Ops and across support functions
Key Skills
Significant experience across multi-site UK operations, productivity/cost control, operations management
Solid WFM expertise – act as the go to person
Ability to oversee WFM and ensure user adoption – demonstrating the benefit of change
Strategically focused and align to company goals
Understand and manage risks v opportunities
Ability to lead and mentor – 2-3 direct reports
Stakeholder engagement at all levels of seniority/location
Confident presenting data and insight to support business growth and strategy
Strong analytical ability with advanced Excel skills
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Would suit someone approachable, motivated and articulate
